Newport Farmer's Market
This year we participated in the Newport Farmer's Market for the first time.
Each week we had a different selection of flavors to scoop from and also
had a few flavors of quarts for take-home. We had a great time and will be back again
next season. Thanks for supporting your local producers at the Farmer's Market.

A percentage of our sales from 3-8pm was donated to Cinnamon Street Early Education and Child Care Center of Newport, a non-profit, parent-cooperative providing quality child care for working families.

Unity Old Home Day, July 31, 2010
As always, we had a lot of fun at Unity's Old Home Day Parade this year.
The parade theme this year was "Children's Day" and our parade entry was a tribute to Dr. Seuss. The Cat in the Hat brought along Thing 1 and Thing2 and Sally and Conrad did their best trying to catch them!
Father's Day Contest Winners
We had a lot of great entries again this year for our Father's Day Contest. This year we had two age categories - one 12 and under and another over 12. Our judges still had a difficult choice to make.

6th Annual Food Drive
Thanks to all our customers who donated food or money to our 6th Annual Family Fun and Food Drive, our annual food drive to benefit the Newport Area Food Pantry. We collected nearly 50 pounds of food and over $69 in cash donations. We hope you enjoyed the face painting, obstacle course, and balloons too!
Kid's Fest
We love participating in the annual Together We Grow Preschool's Kid's Fest and we did just that on Saturday, June 12th at the Newport Common. It was a wet day but people came out to enjoy the fun anyway.
